System Requirements
Server-side software
Your server must have the following:
- Apache Web Server (probably IIS but not guaranteed)
- MySQL version 4.1 or later (MySQL 5 recommended)
- PHP version 5.2 or later (requires GD/libPNG/libJPEG for image processing; requires json)
- libCurl recommended for downloading updated administrative and visitor phrases
- Apache mod_rewrite recommended for Search Engine friendly URLs
(You may wish to install onto a dedicated web server, but just to experiment you can install onto a desktop machine which has these components.)
Server-side operating systems
Tribiq CMS will run on all of the following platforms:
- Linux
- Macintosh: Mac OS X
- Un*x systems: Solaris, HP-UX and FreeBSD. Other Unix-type systems should work as well.
- Win32 systems: Windows Vista, XP and 2000. Other Win32 systems should work as well.
Client-side operating systems
In Administration Mode, Tribiq CMS will run on:
- Windows with IE6, IE7, or Firefox
- Mac OSX with Firefox or Safari.
You must have Javascript enabled and allow cookies.
For the end-users of your sites, the requirements will usually be "any web browser", but will depend entirely on the nature of your Templates.
