Template Architechture

Tribiq CMS provides a Template Architechture, whereby the design and layout of your website is managed through one central pool of files - or, "Templates". This ensures that you can successfully manage the design and layout of a  six-hundred page website just as easily as a six page website.

Designers enjoy working with Tribiq-powered websites because constructing a Tribiq CMS template is very straightforward. You can take any existing web design and turn it into a CMS template with minimal effort.

Tribiq CMS Templates also support more than one content area on each page. Where other CMS solutions allow you to only edit one main section of the page, Tribiq supports up to three content areas per item. This gives both authors and designers flexibility in terms of page design and structure.

  • You can create unlimited templates (each template is one XHTML file with links to external CSS files), each with different layouts and use them all on the same Tribiq CMS website.
  • Where a number of Templates have a similar styling or look & feel, they are grouped into a "Template Family".
  • You can assign a new template to a content item with just two clicks of the mouse. Of course, you can set your items to default to a standard template family, for efficient site-wide design.
  • Templates are all simply managed within the back-end control panel - it's very easy to add new shortcut blocks, change the width of editors and much more.
  • Our extensive Template Architecture smartly separates design from content. You can make a single change to one Template File, and Tribiq CMS will echo the changes throughout your enitre website, or even websites.

Your template files will also control any parameters you wish to pass to the content item. This gives your website an efficient platform for making page-by-page template changes - for example, changing the master graphic, or using a different heading.

The Tribiq CMS Template Architecture is the ideal platform for:

  1. Designers who want efficient and fast site-wide modifications.
  2. Developers who want easy and scalable integration.
  3. Organizations who want the freedom to regularly change the design of each page.
  4. Individuals who enjoy creating designs without having to change the application code.
