Built-in Forums

Tribiq CMS contains built-in Forum functionality, allowing you to create your own communities within a Tribiq CMS website, without having to link to other forum software. Forums are treated as a content type, meaning they are content managed - just like any other item within the CMS.

Tribiq CMS allows you to create unlimited forums, with user access determined by the Tribiq CMS Extranet Management System. This allows you to modify privilages (read, post, reply) at both a user and group level to each forum on your website. Should you allow it, anonymous users can also have both read and write access to each forum.

You can also allow users and administrators to subscribe to a thread. In Tribiq CMS we call this "Tracked Threads". This means that upon any update or addition to a given thread, the subscriber can be notified either by system message, email or third-party notification.

Almost instantly, you can create private forums for each of your extranet groups - internal business units, resellers, distributors and any other of your key contacts can control and moderate thier own private forums - but you can also allow other extranet groups to view these too.

Tribiq CMS Forums also support integration with anti-spam mechanisms, such as popular "CAPTCHA" programs.
