Document Vault
One of Tribiq CMS' most notable features is the unique handling of documents. Tribiq CMS understands documents as files that are typically downloaded, like: Word Documents, Excel Documents, Powerpoint Presentations, PDF, Zip/RAR and other Compressed Files and industry software files, e.g. Photoshop documents or CAD documents. The Document Vault is built to extend this functionality.
Tribiq CMS makes it possible to control your document content items using the documents themselves, and not the CMS interface. Built in to a Tribiq CMS installation is a Tribiq "Drop-box", allowing for FTP/SFTP and other interfaces to upload a range of files. These files are then automatically detected by a template of your choice.

Files are automatically added to the CMS with their own content ID, providing them with the standard options. These files can then also be built into a automatic group holder, such as a Gallery (if you were dealing with a range of photographs, for example) or a Download List (which would be suitable if you were dealing with a range of PDFs, for example).
Tribiq CMS continues support for PDF-to-HTML and DOC-to-HTML, enabling your site visitors to search through your documents before they actually download them. All PDF and Word documents (and other word processing formats) are converted to plain text upon upload which allows them to be scanned by the built-in CMS search system.
Tribiq CMS currently supports only Multimedia (Gallery) Management via the Document Vault.
